But I REALLY Want to
In my far too many hours of knitting related web surfing yesterday, I stumbled (again) across the websites for The Knitting Quilt of America and Craft Yarn Council of America. They made my little knitting head spin, and gave me far too many ideas. Both organizations offer correspondence courses in knitting which have me ready to jump in with both feet. TKGA offers a Three Level course to become a Master Knitter, and the CYCA offers a three level course to become a certified knitting instructor. The programs appear challenging, but just what I need to push myself to the next level. My very supportive husband told me to jump right in, and I love him for that. I know that secretly he thinks I am in need to being admitted to some kind of knitters support group (and we all know that would turn into enabling). I have spent all day today doing more research, and think that I am going to start with TKGA's "Basic, Basic, Basic" course to make sure that I have a good foundation. I am so EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!
